How does the ATP biofilter work?

The odour treatment process is based on the activity of the bacterial flora: microorganisms that metabolize most organic and inorganic compounds through a series of reactions that transform the incoming compounds into non-odorous reaction products.
ATP Environment provides a patented activator that aids in the initial stage of bacterial flora development and enhances the performance of biofilters.
The advantages of ATP biofilters
- The main advantage of using biofilters compared to other methods of air treatment are low operating costs.
The long life of the filtering material (4 – 5 years) which, at the end of its useful life, does not involve problems or disposal costs, low energy costs and the no use of synthetic chemical substances make this type of plant ideal for the purpose.
- A biofiltration unit can be designed to fit any industrial environment. In addition, biofilters can be designed with stacked beds tominimize space requirements and multiple units can run in parallel.
